Ronald Brimer

Born in West Hartlepool in 1930, he served as a Regular soldier in the 1st Battalion DLI during the Korean War. He also served in Germany at Dortmund and Berlin and in the DLI's Depot at Brancepeth Castle.

His father, William Brimer, served with the 2nd Battalion DLI during the First World War and was awarded the Military Medal in 1918. His medals are also on show in the Medal Room.
